God instructs us to love everyone John 15:12 and try to get along with others Romans 12:18; Hebrews 12:14. Yes we should be shining examples of God's love. However we were not told that we must impress everyone and in fact we are instructed to worry more about impressing God, not man 1 Thessalonians 2:4. We were not told that every person will be pleased with all we do or say. Worry more about pleasing God by following Him in all we say or do. When we begin to focus on impressing and pleasing man we often forget to follow, please and trust God, Galatians 1:10. Stay focused, keep our eyes fixed on God Hebrews 12:2, keep your ears fixed on His Word, Proverbs 4:20-27; 2 Timothy 4:3-5 and keep our heart open to God's love, compassion and forgiveness and then pass that along to others, Ephesians 4:32; Psalm 86:15.

Keep our mind focused on believing God's word, trusting in Him and having faith He will keep every promise. At every step in life, with ALL we do or say.....think.... will this bring glory, honor and praise to God? Will this please my God? To us as a Christian, that is what matters and we should examine everything we do and say in that way. Would we do or say 'that' right now with God standing physically in front of us????? Well..... this may surprise many but we must realize that God is always standing right there in front of us, behind us, beside us... He knows all. Psalms 139:1-16; 1 John 3:20; Acts 1: 24. Make the right choice for God and by His Grace all else will be taken care of. If mere man disagrees and is unhappy, unkind and unforgiving towards you..... choose God first and turn to Him.  2 Timothy 3:3-13. Give it to Him and trust Him to work it all for good. Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalms 56:1-4.
