1 Corinthians 15:1-3 “Now brothers, I want to clarify for you the gospel I proclaimed to you; you received it and have taken your stand on it. You are also saved by it, if you hold to the message I proclaimed to you — unless you believed for no purpose. For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures”

Our life gets so busy and It is so easy to get caught up in the daily tasks, planning, and logistics of life. But let’s remember that our foundation is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul reminds us that this message of salvation is what we must hold fast to, standing firm in the truth that Christ died for our sins. It’s in this truth that we are saved and by which our ministries are made meaningful. It is important to remember the main reason for God’s word is to bring people who are lost to know Jesus and to lead them to be saved through and by the blood of Jesus Christ. Share God’s word, share the gospel of Jesus Christ, share our testimony every opportunity we get. This weekend, as we engage with our friends, neighbors, co-workers, children, as we plan events, or share messages, let’s keep the gospel front and center. Everything we say and do for the cause of Christ flows from the amazing news that Christ died for us so let’s stand firm on it, let’s shout it, let’s live it and let’s share it in the hopes that we come across someone that is called and lead to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
